My creative journey began in Switzerland, where I trained in analogue photography under Beat Presser, and later took me to New York, where I studied at the School of Visual Arts and worked in editorial and commercial photography. Beneath it all was a question I kept returning to: what makes a life and a body of work feel truly purposeful?
Portrait photography taught me to look beyond the surface—to listen closely, recognise what is distinctive in another person, and help make it visible. It also gave me a lasting respect for beauty, not as decoration, but as something that can reveal truth and meaning.
That same search led me from photography into branding, creative direction and career coaching. Today, I bring these disciplines together to help people, businesses and places understand what has shaped them, clarify what matters, and build meaningfully from there.Work with me

Curriculum Vitae
Career and narrative development
Career Advisor — Falck / NAV Programme | 2025–present
I work with job seekers whose experience does not always fit neatly into a conventional CV: career changers, international professionals, people returning after long absences, and those facing language, age or health-related barriers.
Through individual guidance, tailored questionnaires, CV and application development, webinars and group sessions, I help participants identify the thread in their experience and turn it into a credible professional direction. This work has also become an important testing ground for the story-based career methodology I am developing with Antoni Pisani.
Business and brand development
Branding and Story Strategy — Independent | 2022–present
I help entrepreneurs, creatives and small businesses uncover the deeper story behind their work and translate it into clearer positioning, messaging and direction.
Projects have ranged from personal brands and creative practices to wellbeing businesses and product concepts. Clients include Amanda Gentinetta, Cecilie Thunem-Saanum, Laura Vallenes and The Purefume, Frisch Aktiv GmbH, Wilhelmine’s Univers and Salome Moana.
Together with Antoni Pisani, I am developing Story Living: a book and practical framework for using story to create clarity, agency and meaningful direction in careers, businesses and places.
Cultural heritage and place
The Brass Spheres of Lillesand — Concept and Project Development
More than 300 brass spheres sit on the historic iron fences of Lillesand, yet the craft, stories and care behind them were at risk of being overlooked.
I developed a cultural heritage project that brings together local history, traditional craftsmanship, photography and public participation. Supported by Agder County Municipality, the project includes a printed publication, contributions from craftspeople and local historians, and a community polishing initiative intended to renew the tradition for future generations.
Else Rønnevig — Editorial and Cultural Heritage Projects
I am developing a curated book about the life’s work of preservation advocate Else “Sprossa” Rønnevig. Rather than treating it as a conventional biography, the project explores the inner compass behind her work and follows its movement from calling and practice to wider influence and continuation.
The collaboration also includes smaller publishing and heritage initiatives concerned with traditional craftsmanship, building culture and how knowledge is passed between generations.
Spaces shaped by story
Tindelia — Creative Direction and Transformation | 2024–2025
I led the transformation of a modest off-grid cabin into a quiet writer’s retreat. Working within a budget of NOK 150,000, I developed the concept and managed design decisions, sourcing and execution.
The project was guided by the cabin’s setting and existing character: removing what distracted, preserving what belonged, and using natural materials, restraint and composition to create clarity and calm.
Photography and visual storytelling
Photographer and Visual Identity Designer | 2017–2022
Portraiture taught me that representing someone well begins with paying attention. I created portraits and visual identities for entrepreneurs, artists and publications, including AW Magazine and CBS University Cologne, with an emphasis on revealing character rather than constructing an image.
I also created and published Wild Plants in Your Kitchen, bringing together photography, design and creative direction in a single editorial project.
My photographic foundation began with Beat Presser in Switzerland, where I learned analogue photography and darkroom practice. It continued in New York through studies at the School of Visual Arts, an internship with Art Partner, and editorial work for photographer Stian Foss.
